What to do while you are here...

For the more “extreme wedding” your groom may want to high tail it to the ceremony by skydiving or parasailing for a memorable unity. You may want your ‘knight in shining armour’ to whisk you away on horse back to the reception. How about exchanging your rings under the sea with your scuba diving buddy!

Going offshore you often get to see dolphins, or you can go cruising the beautiful coastline of the Great Sandy Strait to explore the many tiny inlets and coves. Inland and upstream you can explore the unspoiled bushland.

There’s probably no more personally unique way of uniting in marriage than cruising the Great Sandy Strait on your own houseboat of love, propelling yourself towards the sunset while making a life long commitment.

Eating out...

You will find a lovely way to please your taste buds with a variety of culinary delights from the different award winning restaurants, conference centres and Wine Bars. The famous delectable Cooloola Coast delicacies taste even better when they’re eaten overlooking the waters in which they’re grown. Mouth-watering natural ingredients are just the beginning of the culinary pleasures you can have here on the Cooloola Coast. The range of menu styles available to you is as broad as your own palate, from modern European to traditional Australian casual to haute cuisine overlooking superb water views.
